Fall weather is upon us and with it comes pumpkins, festivals and beautiful foliage. I recently attended the Berlin Harvest Festival on Saturday. The weather was a wee bit nippy, but none the less it was a perfect day to wander up and down the streets of Berlin taking in the sights and smelling the delicious aromas of various foods being sold. I passed up barbecued ribs (why I don’t know) but did indulge in a big bag of kettle corn. There was a rib cook off, live music and a parade. The streets were loaded with people looking to have a good time and ready enjoy all the splendor the season of fall brings along. We didn’t stay for the parade because my kiddos were on a mission to get to Hershberger’s Farm and Bakery where they were hoping to purchase a bunny they have had their eyes on. The bunny was sold, so they had to settle for a yummy snack. A sweet treat always hits the spot! Overall, we had a great day and are ready to tackle the next festival……
