An Amish Wedding tells the stories of a trio of ladies who are preparing for the upcoming nuptials of Priscilla King and Chester Lapp. Part one is A Perfect Secret by Kelly Long. Rose Bender has just accepted Luke Lantz’s proposal with apprehension. Although they have been best friends all of their life, Rose feels as though she doesn’t really know Luke. She feels like he may be hiding a secret from her and she desperately wants to find out what it is. During her quest for answers she is forced to examine herself realizing Luke may not be the only one with secrets.The second part of the book is A Perfect Match by Kathleen Fuller. The story follows Naomi King, who has had her heart broken and remains hopeful she will find her “perfect match.” Zeke Lapp, a cousin to Chester Lapp, comes to town for the wedding and is immediately drawn to Naomi. Naomi has a hard time letting go of the past. When Zeke starts to show an interest in her she pushes him away. Will Naomi be able to trust again? Or will she keep her heart fully guarded?
Part three is A Perfect Plan by Beth Wiseman. While making wedding preparations everything seems to go wrong for Priscilla and Chester. You name it and it happens! Priscilla starts to doubt that she is on the right path and wonders if God is trying to tell her something. She knows she loves Chester with all of her heart but they just can’t seem to catch a break. I really enjoyed this book. It is nice to read a story from different viewpoints. Happy Reading!
