A Plain and Simple Heart-Review and Three Book Giveaway!!

A Plain and Simple Heart by Lori Copeland and Virginia Smith is book two in The Amish of Apple Grove Series. It follows Rebecca Switzer on her quest to find her true love Jesse Montgomery. A quest that lands her smack dab in the county jail in Lawrence, Kanas and into the life of the town sheriff, Colin Maddox. Trouble is brewing in this small town. The women are fed up with men blatantly breaking the law when they choose to drink liquor, which is illegal. Now imagine if you will, being a young Amish girl with no experience out in the world and being stuck in the middle of a temperance movement…….should make for an exciting adventure right? Let me tell you that it does! It’s a fun and entertaining book mixed with some romance that will keep you turning the pages.  Amish fiction set in the Wild West….what a great concept! I actually learned quite a lot from reading this book. Where was I during American History in school? A Plain and Simple Heart is a unique spin on Amish fiction that I found to be exciting and one of a kind.

And drumroll please…………
