Seasons of Tomorrow- Review and Three Book Giveaway!

Seasons of Tomorrow – A Just Dessert After a Three-Course Meal by Susan Ferrell

seasons of tomorrowFinally! At last! Ahhh! Book Four of Cindy Woodsmall’s Amish Vines and Orchards series, Seasons of Tomorrow, had arrived! Could Woodsmall deliver with this final book in the series? Would it drag out? Would it keep my attention? Well in short: Yes, no, and YES! It is a Cindy Woodsmall novel, after all!

Woodsmall used great effort to tie up every loose end with Seasons of Tomorrow. Readers are brought back to Orchard Bend, Maine and the Amish settlement there. Rhoda is still learning more about her intuition, the King brothers are still finding their niche, and Amish Leah and Englischer Landon’s relationship becomes a major stumbling block for all involved. Then tragedy strikes. How will all of these people find their way in these new circumstances? Only with God’s help can they make it through – and what awaits is worth it…to the very last page.

I was given this book in exchange for my honest review. At first, I was very disappointed to learn that Cindy Woodsmall was turning this series into four books. But after reading Seasons of Tomorrow, it is perfectly clear. In fact, I now cannot imagine there NOT being a Book Four! Although there is a very good synopsis of Books 1 through 3 in the beginning of Book 4, I do not believe Seasons of Tomorrow can be read as a stand-alone. There are just too many juicy details to read in Books 1 through 3 that round out the characters. As I finished Seasons of Tomorrow, I ended it with a satisfying sigh – like Books 1, 2 and 3 were the appetizers and main course and Book 4 was the long-awaited, scrumptious dessert! Woodsmall finished out all of the story lines well and it was a delicious treat. Thank you, Ms. Woodsmall, for allowing us to journey with you to Orchard Bend – it was delightful.

We are happy to announce that WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group is giving away three copies of Seasons of Tomorrow. Three books…three winners! Are you as excited as we are? Susan clearly adored this book so be sure to enter!
