When Grace Sings – Review by Susan Scott Ferrell

When Grace Sings – Melodious! – review by Susan Scott Ferrell

Kim Vogel Sawyer is quickly making her mark in the Christian Romance genre. When I read When Mercy Rains (first in The Zimmerman Restoration Trilogy), I was thoroughly ensconced in her writings and knew that I would have to read Book Two in the series, When Grace Sings, ASAP! As I have come to expect, Sawyer did not disappoint this reader!

When Grace Sings tells the story of Alexa Zimmerman, who has just opened a Bed & Breakfast at her grandmother’s house. Business has been sporadic. So when city slicker Briley Forrester comes to stay for an extended period of time, it is a welcome reprieve. Only problem is: Briley is a journalist – and he’s out to find anything and everything he can to discount the quiet, dignified Old Order Mennonites of Arborville, Kansas! When another person comes to stay at the B&B, Anna Grace Braun (the birth-daughter of Alexa’s mom), panic and intrigue ensues!

I was given When Grace Sings in exchange for my honest review and I thought it was wonderfully written. Sawyer creates the perfect blend of suspense, heart, and of course, grace. My only frustration is that she has left so many loose ends and now I am back, clamoring for more. So the waiting begins for the final installment of the series, When Love Returns! When Grace Sings cannot be read as a stand-alone, as too much of the story refers back to Book One, so get caught up, because I have a feeling that Book Three will be outstanding. Sawyer never disappoints – When Grace Sings is melodious!

Susan Ferrell and her husband make their home in the Atlanta Metro area. Although Susan struggles with chronic migraine headaches, she stays very busy as a stay-at-home mom to one very precocious little girl. While catching her breath, she feeds her Amishaholic tendencies by reading vast amounts of Amish literature!
