The Promise Box by Tricia Goyer

the promise box picTricia Goyer has penned yet another top notch book. Her latest The Promise Box is sure to please Amish fiction fans. We are taken on Lydia Wyse’s journey back home after her mother’s death. A journey that makes her realize that she must confront a past that she has been running from so she can finally move forward with her life. Questions need to be answered. Is turning her back on her Amish heritage really for her? Why is she so scared of past revelations? Why did she run and miss precious time with her ailing mother? Regret and pain course through this young woman that is until her father gives her a box from her mother. A box full of her mother’s promises to God. It is her last link to her mother….her last chance to repair her broken heart.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and have become an even bigger fan of Tricia’s. She has written a truly unique story. The characters will stir up your emotions and steal a little piece of your heart. The Promise Box is not just another Amish fiction romance. It’s an uplifting and inspirational book that delivers an emotional punch. Grab your cup of tea, find a nice quiet place, and have a wonderful time opening The Promise Box….
