Money Secrets of the Amish is the perfect book to read in today’s economy. Author Lorilee Craker takes a look into the lives of the Amish to find out some of their “money secrets”. Along the way she learns many valuable lessons that we all can benefit from. This book is jammed packed with money saving ideas that the Amish practice daily. Ideas that are both practical and simple. I think people who read this book will realize that these “secrets” are worthwhile and can be easily done. I plan to implement many of these ideas from this book into my own life. As I was reading the tips seem so simple that I found myself saying “why didn’t I think of that?” I think it’s time nowadays to remember the value of the dollar. The Amish start this valuable lesson with their children at a young age. Be satisfied with what you have. Waste not want not. Simple right? If you need some great money saving ideas on how to bulk up your bank account than this book is for you. Just remember that money does not buy happiness.
