Her Brother’s Keeper – A Story of Healing Review by Susan Ferrell

Her-Brothers KeeperIt has been so long since I have seen a new release from Beth Wiseman (a full-length, Amish-genre release)! I actually caught my breath when I picked up her newest release, Her Brother’s Keeper, first in her Amish Secret Series. Wiseman fans (and Amish fiction fans alike): You will not be disappointed. Go ahead and order today!

Her Brother’s Keeper tells the story of Englischer Charlotte Dolinsky. She has chosen to infiltrate the Amish community her brother not only became a part of…but also where he died. Charlotte aims to get to the bottom of what was going on in her brother’s life. So Charlotte changes her name to “Mary” and befriends her brother’s former fiancée. But if “Mary” thinks she can throw on a prayer kapp and throw out a few Pennsylvania Dutch words and no one will be the wiser, she has another thing coming. Will Charlotte find the answers she’s looking for? And what if finding out the truth compromises the first real friendships she’s ever had?

I was given this book in exchange for my honest review. Her Brother’s Keeper was fantastic. It was especially refreshing to see yet another new (and complex) Amish storyline. Well done, Beth Wiseman! Glad to have you back…when does Book Two come out? I’m ready for another Amish Secret!

Susan Ferrell and her husband make their home in the Atlanta Metro area. Although Susan struggles with chronic migraine headaches, she stays very busy as a stay-at-home mom to one very precocious little girl. While catching her breath, she feeds her Amishaholic tendencies by reading vast amounts of Amish literature!
