A Dream of Miracles Review by Susan Scott Ferrell

A Dream of Miracles – This One’s A Keeper!

A Dream of MiraclesRuth Reid has taken her readers on a fantastic journey with her Amish Wonders series. I was mesmerized with A Miracle of Hope, and enchanted with A Woodland Miracle. But could Reid deliver yet another tantalizing tale with A Dream of Miracles? After losing much sleep over the course of two days, I give a resounding, “YES!”

A Dream of Miracles follows the story of a young Amish widow, Mattie Diener. Mattie is worn to the core. She’s lost her husband and is now trying to make ends meet while raising two little ones. When her little boy develops a serious mysterious illness, she finds herself at the center of major controversy.

In comes Englischer Bo Lambright, a social services investigator, raised among the social elite. He’s caught between what his years of experience have taught him, and his conscience that won’t let him sleep at night…including bizarre dreams that somehow may hold the key to lingering doubts and questions.

I was given A Dream of Miracles in exchange for my honest review. Ruth Reid delivers yet another riveting tale that will have you reading into the wee hours of the night. You’ll walk every step of Mattie’s perilous journey, and cheer on Bo as he attempts to unravel the deep mysteries of his dreams. This one’s a keeper!
