A Christmas Gift for Rose-Review and Giveaway

Rose Yoder always felt like something was missing in her life but could never quite put her finger on it. She is plagued with nightmares that leave her feeling empty inside. Rose ended her relationship with her true love Jonathan because he chose to leave and serve his country during World War II. To volunteer to go is not the Amish way and his decision brings much shame to Rose. She feels as though he turned to the world and away from their tight-knit community. A community that is not very happy with Jonathan’s decision to go overseas. To make matters worse Rose is hit with a bombshell about her childhood when she is trying to mend her broken heart. This revelation changes everything for her and now her path in life seems even more unclear…
I love reading Christmas books and A Christmas Gift for Rose is going straight to the top of my favorites list. Tricia Goyer has written a truly charming and inspirational book that will leave you feeling genuinely happy to have read it. Stories that are heartwarming with compelling characters grab my attention and hold it until it’s time to reluctantly say our goodbyes. The last three books I have read from Tricia have fit this description to a tee and this sweet little book is no different. I just know you will be delighted with this book as much as I am and I happen to have a copy for one lucky reader to win!
