A Christmas Gift for Rose — and us — by Susan Ferrell

roseI must admit, whenever I hear that Tricia Goyer has a book coming up for release, I am beside myself with excitement. Hearing of A Christmas Gift for Rose’s release was no different.

A Christmas Gift for Rose gathers together many of Goyer’s passions — the Amish, adoption and World War II — into one beautifully wrapped package. It tells the story of Rose (raised Amish, yet to her surprise born Englisch) and Jonathan (who Rose always thought was the one she would marry – until he decides to go overseas and help the Englischers during their war!) When Jonathan returns, how will he and Rose ever find their way back to what they thought they always knew and wanted?

Based on a true story, A Christmas Gift for Rose is a quick read that is easily read as a stand-alone book. This is the perfect read to remind you of what is most important during the most holy of seasons.

I was given this book in exchange for my honest review. Tricia Goyer has once again given her readers a treasure to enjoy. This Christmas gift is not only for Rose…it is a gift for Goyer’s readers as well.

Susan Ferrell and her husband make their home in the Atlanta Metro area. Although Susan struggles with chronic migraine headaches, she stays very busy as a stay-at-home mom to one very precocious 5-year old. While catching her breath, she feeds her Amishaholic tendencies by reading vast amounts of Amish literature!
