I always feel a little sad when finishing a good book. I tend to think a book should go on and on! You could say a book is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. And boy did I just finish a new book that can only be described as rich and satisfying like a very smooth chocolate. The New Year is upon us and my resolution is to slow down and smell the roses. (Although, I prefer to smell honeysuckle.) At times I tend to be a little high strung much to my chagrin! There are so many books I want to read and share my thoughts about. Also in the coming year, I plan to add lots of new stuff to my blog along with my reviews. I suffer from an affliction known as “tends to eat a lot” so I want to post about my eating trips to Amish Country! Pictures will be included. Have a Happy New Year!

The Panhandler’s Breath

Inside Out Christmas

My veterinarian friend, Dr. Katie, tells the story about the December when a woman brought a very sick black lab into her clinic. The dog was only ten months old, so she was really just a big puppy, but she’d been vomiting incessantly and her worried owner didn’t know what was wrong. Continue reading…
